Privacy our most valuable asset

We live in an era where technology is changing the way we do everything. This doesn’t stop when it comes to the security or value of our privacy. Facebook, social media in general, has done a great job convincing us all to devalue our privacy and actually to give it away for free. Thinking about this and talking with others has led me to a question I pose everyone reading this to ask themselves. Whats the value of your privavcy? First you should consider something… Do you view your privacy as an asset, liability or credit allowance we were given at birth. Some might argue its more valuable and transferable than cash. Making it the most lucrative element of our own individual economic ecosystem. Its just through socialization, stratification and cultural development that we’ve been led to completely under evaluate our privacty. We often get our life appraised when we buy health and life insurance. However, we never give value to our data which really is what our privacy is about, isn’t it? Its time to find the value of your data. Its time to take ownership of it.
