Let me tell you what I’m about, it’s definitely not trying to impress people or gain Clout
My whole life people want to tell me how smart I am or how I work my words with a pen
Meanwhile I’m no different than anyone else as I navigate my way towards death
For me it’s just about trying to help others find their way, each and every day
Achievements have always seemed to be what others look for, while I focus on the journey
Success to me isn’t what I accomplish or the things that others see
Success is touching the hearts of those who allow for me to be in their lives
Money doesn’t buy happiness nor does it remove the stress
Money only allows for us to take the next step
Happiness comes from carrying the burden of others, it’s empathy, as we see them grow
Freedom stems from solitude, a direct reflection of our attitude
Some of you may want to judge my success by the amount of money I have or the accomplishments I have achieved
Which is a bench mark that simply doesn’t make any sense to me
I judge my success by the attitude I carry each day
How I find my solitude along the journey of my path
And most importantly the freedom I have in my mind by knowing I brightened another’s day
