Problem is there never was common sense to begin with. It’s a fallacy. It’s an expectation. Its an illusion created by ego. And thats the real issue. Everyone one of us relies on our own perception to navigate through life. We all come from different backgrounds. We all have different experiences. And we all define things differently. With that comes confusion. What we really need to focus on instead of this pseudo ideology of common sense, is communication. We owe it to each other to redefine what things mean to each of us just as much as we owe to each other to take the time to understand what things mean to others. And through that process we can gain common ground. If people quit expecting others to see things through their own perspective and put the work in to do this that disappointment of the lack of common sense would evaporate. And we’d understand each other creating that common ground to build on.
